Hole in One Prize Fund (2016 at ~$2,130)
Rules
All players always shoot from the Forward Tees on Par 3's.
$5 per year per player is added to the fund to be distributed to the player achieving this feat. Some special circumstances may arise, so the following rules are spelled out below:
1. New players are in for $20 the 1st year and are therefore in for 4 years of dues
2. So that a 1st year player doesn't drain the fund, there will be the following vesting:
1st year ($20 in) 40%
2nd year ($25 in) 50%
3rd year ($30 in) 60%
4th year ($35 in) 70%
5th year ($40 in) 80%
6th year ($45 in) 90%
7th year ($50 in) 100%
3. In the event of 2 Aces during the same round, each will get a 50% share of what he would have gotten as a solo winner. So a player who is in for 7 or more years will get 50% of the pot. If the other player getting an Ace was a 5th year player, he would get 40%. The other 10% would stay in the fund.
4. If there is an Ace during the playing of a round and that round cannot be completed (weather), the Ace will stand.
5. If a player is hitting more than one tee shot (3-some in a Scramble or Shamble), only the 1st shot will be eligible.
